NASF UPDATED – EPA Proposes More Stringent Ozone Standard of 65-70 Parts Per Billion

“The Environmental Protection Agency proposed a more stringent national ozone standard, between 65 and 70 parts per billion, on November 26, saying the level is necessary to protect human health under the Clean Air Act. With an estimated cost to the economy of $3.4 trillion, manufacturing leaders in Washington are calling it the most expensive regulation ever.”
