Minister of Transportation: 117,000 New Trees Will Pay Tribute, Build Legacy, Help the Environment

According to the Ministry of Transportation:  Ontario will be Honouring Fallen Soldiers Along Highway of Heroes by planting 117,000 New Trees that Will “Pay Tribute, Build Legacy, Help the Environment.”  The trees will be planted in “partnership with Forests Ontario and Highway of Heroes Tribute, one tree will be planted along Highway 401 between Trenton and Toronto for every soldier who has fallen serving Canada since Confederation–a total of 117,000 trees.”
