Recycling Containers Protects the Environment and Creates Employment

“Thanks to Ontario residents, two billion alcohol containers have been recycled into new products through the Ontario Deposit Return Program.

Alcohol containers such as plastic and glass bottles, aluminum cans,  bag-in-box wine containers and Tetra Pak containers can be returned to  the Beer Store for a refund under the program. Returning containers  creates employment as they are recycled into useful new products, such  as new containers, fibreglass, car mats, seat belts, carpeting,  clothing, insulation and cardboard.”
